Mimi's Crafty Nook

So I didn't post anything for a couple of days, because, well, I didn't have anything to show. I did knit and crochet a bit, but nothing's finished. The mustard lace scarf will be done in a day or two, though. Ich habe in den letzten Tage nichts gepostet, weil ich eigentlich nichts zum zeigen hatte. Habe zwa ein bisschen gestrickt und gehäkelt, aber nichts ist soweit fertig. Der zenffarbige Schal ist aber fast fertig, der braucht nur noch ein oder zwei Tage. On another note, I made some progress on making an Etsy shop (more about that later). And I made an amazing find of vintage earrings.... Soon to be found in said Etsy shop 😅, because I can't possibly keep them all, my dear H would go crazy. I'm keeping a few, however 😉 Weiterhin habe ich einige Fortschritte gemacht beim einrichten von meinem Etsy-shop (später mehr darüber). Und ich habe diese tolle vintage Ohrringe gefunden.... When life gets in the way of crafting, it makes for one very grumpy Mimi.... Lol. You get the picture. Hope today will be better 😅 An manchen Tagen schaft man gar nix, weil einfach zu viel los ist. Gestern war leider so ein Tag, und das besorgt mir dann einfach ne schlechte Laune... Heute wird hoffentlich besser 😅

I have nothing to show for yesterday... I just knitted a bit on that scarf. After receiving a bit of bad news, I went into a cleaning and clearout frenzy, which did bring me closer to my craftroom. Everything that goes out of that room is packed up. 😀

Craftwise, I just knitted a bit  yesterday. I love 💖this yarn by Borgo de' Pazzi. It's an Italian brand, and they produce as eco-friendly as possible. It's always top quality and honestly, their prices are nice too. This particular one is a recycled Merino (70%), a bit stiffer than a 'new' merino wool when knitting, but after the first wash it's as squishy and soft as one expects from merino. In other craft news, a lovely package came in the post with some more yarn (one can never have enough yarn), and some buttons 😍(more than just that one pack, but I'm not sharing those yet 😋), and yup, that's christmas fabric 😏. (I just noticed how bad this picture is 😧) I've saved the most exciting news for last (well, exciting for me). Yesterday, my lovely husband suggested we rearrange some rooms, so I get a craft room all to myself! Admitted, I've been hinting at this for several weeks, how nice it would be to have a space I could close ...

Keeping dilligently crafty everyday. I finished a few crochet leaves, which I might use on a wreath or so. Knitted a few rows on a scarf too, no picture today though. Craftwise not accomplished much, but since I had a though (and long) day at work, I'm quite pleased.

So I took this photo yesterday, thinking I wouldn't have enough time today... Turns out I was wrong. I even managed to finish the doily. 😃 It turned out so cute (even though it still needs a little blocking). Pattern details on Ravelry 😉.
